Another TEST

I went to my ur today to go over the results of the cysto/hydro he did April 6th. My IC is 90% better than when first diagnosed. :hmm: GREAT yeah you would think but my pelvic pain is still horrible. I told him it was as bad as the cramps I had before my hysterectomy. Since it is much worse standing and walking the ur now wants to do a cystogram?????
:confused: He explained they would run dye through a cathater and then watch and it would tell if my bladder had dropped or was causing pressure.
Anyone had this procedure done? Help
If this proves nothing then he says it is all stress and depression.
:headbang: I hate this. Even though I am not having a 'flare' I told him I hurt and was not making this pain up. So he said I may have to take a leave of absence from my job.
So anyone out there been through this procedure?:(

I have not had a cystogram, so I can't really tell you what it involves... however I hope it gives you the answers you are looking for. Maybe someone who's had this done will be able to fill you in...

No, I've not been through this procedure but I sure do have the cramping horrible pain you're describing. Perhaps I should have test bc I double over in pain and just can't stand it.

This was just another exray of the bladder. The tech took picutre of my bladder, then filled it up as full as I could stand it, then took another picture, then one with me pushing down. I could then go pee and they took one more.
All this was to show if my bladder had dropped. Which it had not.
Or if I had leakage, which I did not.
So everything was normal.
My low pelvic pain is still there and now I am having spasms in my lower back. I meet with a physical therapist on Wed afternoon. Let's hope she knows what she is doing and can give me answers.
