Ok, my daughters and I have had fun experimenting this Christmas with different cookie recipes. I had never played with the melting candy before, and realized that I could use the white chocolate to dip pretzels and then roll them in candy sprinkles! I made a couple of dozen of them for New Year's Eve.

It is going to take awhile before I get the hang of it, but I am excited. The hidden benefit is that you really only get a small amount of the white chocolate and the tiny candy bits.....and one pretzel rod. Very satisfying with not so many calories.

If any of you have used the melting candy before, please share your secrets to success!!!

We went to a "bowl" party yesterday (to watch our Ducks lost the Rose Bowl game!) and I ate a lot of those pretzels! I think the dip I have that's usually used for strawberries would work really well for that --- I should give it a try.

I use melting chocolate all the time. It is really easy for anyone who wants to try it. You just melt and dip whatever you want in it. You can do almonds, raisins(if you can tolerate them),pretzels and you can also mix the chocolate, eagle brand and butter with coconut to make white chocolate macaroons. Yummmy!!!
