Since yesterday morning not long after I got up I started having major pain my abdomen & can't sit or get up from sitting & I am doubled over trying to walk b/c it hurts to move. I slept with a heating pad last night but it didn't seem to help any. I haven't been diagnosed with IBS but believe I've had it for quite some time. I had a colonoscopy a yr ago but they never said anything about it. I guess I need to call them.
It is excruiciating trying to go to the bathroom even to pee b/c of the pressure. When I woke up this morning I liked to have crapped in my pants & went to the bathroom & had a hard time even going. It started out as diarhea then got more solid. The few times I have gone this morning it was this way. But I can't go much at a time. I think there was blood also which scares me b/c of colon cancer running in the family but I also have roids that never went away after I had my 1st son 9 yrs ago.

When my PCP was figuring out what I had when I was diagnosed with IC I had a pelvic sonogram & they came back normal & the doctor ruled out endometriosis b/c I had brought it up to him b/c people had been saying it could be that, so I asked.

Does this sound like IBS for the ones that do have it?

I don't think blood is normal for IBS. I have colitis and IBS....and pain and bloating, diarehia, constipation....that is IBS....but blood?? I think you need to see a doctor again.....It is possible that they just didn't tell you about the IBS after your colonoscopy..

I hope you feel better soon.
