Question Uterus removal

Sorry I just didn't know where to post this kind of question. I have been having alot of problems with my period and I am considering having my Uterus removed. I am wondering if any of you have had yours removed after IC and if it made things better or worse. Any replies would be appreciated. Thanks

I had a complete hysterectomy and it did take a great deal of pressure off my bladder.

I would like that too. I have alot of problems with my period. But they say Im to young. Im 30 years old and I have endo twice.

Instead of 2 weeks of horrible pain every month I now have just normal everyday IC pain. I was a little older than you (38) when I had this done.

I had an edometrial eblation done in April/09 which did help with the flow but now I have my period 8-10 days rather than 6 days. I am also only about 14 days period free before I start another flow. I feel like I have my period all the time. I am also very sick for 1-2days everytime I have my period. I feel like I have the flu. My bladder also flares everytime I get my cycle. I'm thinking that something has to give between the bladder and the periods. I am really thinking about getting my uterus out. I'm 42 and really don't need my uterus(lol) because I can't get pregnant anyway due to the eblation so what's the point of being in agony. I am just concerned that it will make my bladder worse in some way. My bladder problem started after I had a IUD put in. It was only in for 1 week but long enough for my bladder to flare. I wish now I never had it put in. The doctors say it is unrelated but I never had groin pain until the very week I had that IUD in. I know it is related wether they think so or not. I guess I need to speak to my Gyno about this.
