congrats on the 10 lbs! I didn't lose much on induction, but have steadily been losing since. have you read the book? it has a much more detailed description, but bascially you're supposed to add 5 g of carbs a week until you notice you've stopped losing. Then you know your carb level that you need to stick to.

I did Atkins for the 2 weeks & didn't lose anything!!!! I was so disappointed & I even went off my Prozac & my bladder didn't care for that. I started hurting. Next I will try Weight Watchers, already did diet pills from the doc & all that did was keep me up nites. I'm just sooo discouraged. I wish I could make myself throw up & do bulemia(sp). :toosh: Lard butt Kathi

Kathi I know it's discouraging when you try so hard and it doesnt work. A girl at the beauty shop yesterday said the first 2 weeks didn't work for her but she stuck with it and lost 40 pounds. Since Monday I've lost 5 and my husband has lost 6. We also started walking. Of course I think most of the loss is water since my trips to the bathroom have really increased. Weight watchers is a great plan too and gives you alot of choices. Good Luck, Sue
I'm doing the Atkins, and having great success! ( Except for Binge tonight! )

I had to come off Atkins as I had a major flare. I think it was probably the sausage and bacon I was having at breakfast. Also, since I couldn't drink my Postum I tried low acid coffee. First flare I've had in months and I did it to myself. Sue
