Happy Christmas Eve - Flares United!

So here I was prepared to right an encouraging message to those of you in flares today when, whammo, I was up at 4am with a flare too.. courtesy of some hard pear cider I had last night. Yikes! Don't eat foods that you know have irritated you in the past when the next day is important. Luckily, I got some sleep between 8 and 10! Now, onto Christmas... albeit slowly and carefully!

In any case, I wanted to wish you all a peaceful and joyful holiday season!!!! It's Christmas.. it's magical... it's stressful... and, in the end, it should be a time of peace and joy. And this is what I wish for you all!!!

I seriously started a flare yesterday too. What the heck?! I was doing so great! I made it through last night at my parents and this morning with the tree and presents. Came home, took a prosed, slapped on the heating pad and took a nap. I even tested myself for a UTI which is negative as always.

I pray everyone with a Christmas flare recover shortly!

please don't take this the wrong way, but to know even you can get a flare too, makes me feel so much better about myself. I bet alot of people think that you have this thing under control so well that you feel great all of the time. Now we know that we are all in this boat together. Please take this is the context of how I meant it (no harm).
