Looking for information about Quebec City in June/July...
Am considering a trip & would like to know about the weather, availability of fresh foods, typical meals, transit system, language...

I took a trip there 10 years ago. While most of Canada has most everything in both English & French. Quebec City semed to have only French. I was lost all the time and treated badly by Hotel & resturants workers. Very rude. Much can change in 10 years. It is a beautiful city. I think you can find any type of food there. It would be most helpful if you know some French. I would ask a few other people how their experience was if you know of anyone. I live in Maine and have many French friends. They are wonderful! It has been only Quebec City that I found very mean. I have no idea why. My Husband says he would return at anytime possible. Not me. I'm sorry I am of no help to you. Thanks! I contacted the organization that set up my last trip to language school (in Spain) about a school in Quebec City to possibly take French lessons. They usually only arrange homestays with families, which could be problematic with doing instillations 2x a day & following a diet as restricted as mine, but they said they would check on studio apartments for me. So, this might not work out... We'll see. I'm trying not to get too attached to the idea until I know more.

Well Quebec City , is beautiful going there myself this summer as well !

There is no problem with food and they speak English as well , my hubby is french as well and from Quebec ..
The food is just like it is in the US., as for transit system , just walking and walking , LOL
If you are flying into Montreal a big city , there are buses or you can rent a car , Quebec City is about 2 1/2 hour drive from Montreal ..

The most beautiful city and old building !

In June and July nice hot weather !
