I think my lack of estrogen is causing me a lot of problems. Stomach pain, gas, joint pain.
I need to solve this without taking estrogen....for that would cause me problems.
:help::help::help:
Thanks ...maybe I can feel normal again if someone has a great answer!

Katrina...
Ain't it great being a woman...:D
Seriously, I began using a natural Progesterone cream many years ago. It has helped me feel so much better. I order it online. If you would like to find out more about it, PM me and I will tell you where to find it. I am not a representative of the product nor will I receive any compensation if you decide to try it. :)

Katrina,
Are you sure it isn't your inflammatory bowel disease acting up? I am postmenopausal, and don't take hormone replacement. I have the symptoms you describe, but I assume it is my Crohn's flaring up.

Well we haven't looked there...but you think that would cause pain at the stomach and gas and joint pain? By stomach I do mean right below my ribcage in the middle....way up there...not where my intestines are.
I have seen the gastroenteroligist...and although he didn't look at them...he didn't give me a way to solve things ...gr:(

Katrina,
It sounds like you may need a second opinion! Don't you just want to shake some of these doctors? I hope you don't have fibromyalgia--that's what my joint pain turned out to be, and it's more common among ICers.
I also am low on estrogen, but I haven't heard of it causing your symptoms. Some medications do cause stomach problems and joint pain. Oh, except I think osteoporosis can cause some pain, and that's from low estrogen. I have it, too. Sigh...I need a new body. :D Anyone else up for a new body?

Hmmm, I might consider a trade in, a new body for this painful one, wouldn't that be nice.

I think we all should be able to do a trade in every 100,000 miles or so. Heck, we are going it with everything else in this disposable
world of ours. Which is really sad. But, I vote for at least a really good overhaul on mine.
