I had a potassium sensitivity test a couple months and the solution did not bother or hurt my bladder, no stinging or burning. But, the weird thing is during the test it made me have a funny sensation in my clitoris... I told my gyn and she didn't seem too concerned. It made it feel tingly and like it was being stimulated. The best way to describe the sensation is it is like the feeling I would get when my husband and I first starting dating and I would be aroused. The thing is it has not went away and I keep feeling this sensation throughout the day; it is not painful. It is just annoying and it coming waves; feels like I am aroused.. but I'm not. Weird, huh? Anybody else have weird clitoral sensations? Is this just part of IC that I haven't heard of, yet? I don't have another appt until January, so I can't bring it up again until then. She is very busy but I love this doctor.

Others on here have had that feeling too. I'm sure someone will post about it.

My guess would be irritated nerve endings. My discomfort and pain was always my urethra. Over time with the right meds for me it has gone away.
I hope yours does too.
