hi im paula, ive had IC for 2years now,its been a total struggle as i live in england and the medical world here is so far behind america, but my consutant sems open to new drugs, thank goodness for IC association and now ive found this forum, i was put on elmiron but after 6 weeks my symptoms got worse , then on the IC website i found cystoprotek and my consultant said he will support me in this but i have to buy it myself , my question is.. has any1 been on cystorptek and does it help x

I am taking CP for a month now, the jury is still out, it seems to help me with the pain a bit. I will give it a go for 2,3 more months as it said you need to try it at least for 3 months to see if it works for you. I am in Sweden and I have a friend in US who buys it for me and sends it as a gift cuz I have it a hard time getting it through custom here.
I don´t have elmiron here so CP is my only choice (should work similar as elmiron). I am so praying it will make a difference.

thank you bojana and diamic65 :) for replying to me, yes im glad i found this site you all seem so friendly, and i know i will learn alot about my IC, your very lucky bojana to get cystoprtek free from your friend , as it costs alot to buy off the net and get it sent to england , but if it works i know it will be money well spent x paula

I did not get it free, I sent money to her so she bought it for me and fortunately custom did not make a fuzz this time with a gift box:) She bought it on amazon where is cheaper.
