Anyone getting DMSO treatments with good results?

Im looking to get DMSO treatments I wanted to know if any of you have had good results and how long do they last?Im hearing anywhere from one year to several years from a doctor. Im hoping its true.

I only had 1 treatment not a series of treatments, it hurt more for a few days then bladder pain stopped for about 3 weeks. I stunk like garlic for 5 days.

My Gyn uses DSMO in a cocktail that includes contents of 2 Elmiron capsules.
I have had 2 different 6 or 7 week treatments of that cocktail. The first was May 08 when I was first diagnosed. I didn't have great results at that time because I didn't know anything much about the diet or anything else.The 2nd series was in March of this year.Since the 3d instill and because he put me on Imipramine I have had no pain. Little by little most of the other symptoms have gone away. I still have 2 or3 trips to the bathroom at night. He told me I would smell like garlic (which is how I know he used DSMO) but I never smelled it and neither did my husband.I would definitely do it again because I feel almost normal now.

When I was first DX with IC, thats what I was doing for treatment. Did this a few times and each one helped a lot. Even put me in remission.

I'm pretty much in a "medication remission".

If I take my midicine and stay away from foods I know bother me,I'm fine.
I am in the process of adding foods back in a little at a time.
