Hello everybody,
I have been on Elmiron for a month now. I feel better. I have only had two flareups. One was very bad , the other mild. I am learning that I have limitations physcially. If I do too much one day, I feel like crap the next. I'm learning. I will live with this disease quite well.
I keep everyone of you in my prayers. God is still good and He is in charge. I am educating people about the disease. Noone has ever heard of it. I am goinbg to find out if there is a support group in my area. If not, I plan to start one this summer.
I am also writing to Law & Order about their incorrect reference to our disease.
My family and friends are very supportive and understanding. Phillip, my boyfriend (age50) is also supportive. He is the one who holds me when I need to cry and vent about this illness. So there is hope. I refuse to allow anything to totally take over.
Still here.
Chris
