Hi all,
I haven't been on here in awhile. IC is under control with my angel of a drug...Elmiron. It is night and day with me.
But I've noticed that my constant pain in my neck, back and hips is now spreading to legs. At first I thought it was pain from working out and I got addicted to my chiropractor. Now I'm wondering if its Fibromyalgia. I have pain in many of the pressure points and have lots of dizziness. I'm uninsured at this point so need to find a doctor but can't quite yet. Just moved to a new city so starting over with new doctors etc. is ALWAYS fun. My thyroid is under control finally but this pain thing is starting to hinder my life. I realize that I am a super active person but it is starting to make it hard to be active and do what I love (run, dance, lift weights). Chiropractic doesn't cut it like it used to.
What type of doctor should see? My doctor (that I LOVED) mentioned once that IC and Fibro go hand in hand. He also did a complete RA panel and they found no evidence of Lupus, or any other autoimmune.
Should I see an internist? Rheumatologist? Neurologist?
Thanks!
