Endo causing IC symptoms?? VERY confused!

So, I just had my IC "birthday" as it were yesterday, marking the one year anniversery of waking up in extreme pain. My major symptoms are supra-pubic burning, pain near tailbone/down inside of legs, bloating, frequency and urgency. I've been through a bunch of urologists, had a cystoscopy, where they saw "minor" glomorations but only upon max-distention. I sort of self-diagnosed and got put on elmiron (one urologist just threw up his hands and gave up and the other one just started treating it). Now, my gynocologist decided it would be a good idea to go in and have a look to make sure there was endometriosis causing any problems. I had the laprascopy two weeks ago and she found endo, on both ovaries, on my bladder, and on my ureter. Right after the surgery she told me that endo was the cause of all my problems and I could stop taking the elmiron. Well, it took a few days for the swelling to go down, but once it did I started having all my old IC symptoms again (right now I'm pretty much flaring). I see her for followup on Thursday and I know she wants me to start Lupron. I am very confused here..... can endo really cause all my sypmtoms that I thought were IC? It was "mild" endo from what I could tell with no adhesions or cysts or anything. Has anyone started treatment for endo and noticed a reduction in their urinary symptoms as well? I've been on birth control for years now so my period doesnt bother me much (it did alot when I was not on it though).

REALLY confused and conflicted. Please Help!!:bonk:
