Urethral Pain!!

This is new to me. Has anybody felt like when they sit down that they have urethral pain?

Yes! I have this all the time.. You might want to research Vulvodynia..This can cause alot of pain down there..

My IC began with Urethral pain and UTI's. Sit on a donut pillow if you can,it helps a lot.As my IC symptoms become less and less,so does the Urethral discomfort. I haven't had any Urethral discomfort for several months. The last little bit I had from it was a hesitation at the beginning of the pee. It would trickle and then burst force with a good stream. It no longer feels cranky.

Yes I have urethral pain continuously with my IC symptoms. I have found that if you can a small ice pack applied to the area help tremendously and if you are not somwhere where that is an option I usually have to sit with my pelvis tilted upward and I am slouching back in my chair. This helps relieve some of the discomfort and I also get up and walk around every 20 - 30minutes as well When I was diagnosed with severe IC he (Uro) also diagnosed me with severe Urethritis. I take Prosed DS 3 times a day to help manage this symptom. Hope this help answer your question. Best regards.:)

Thank to all of you that had replied. I never had this problem when I was first diagnosed with IC. This has been going on for couple of months. This is new to me. I'm worried that it could be another problem:confused:
