Hi Kelly,
I hope the oxytrol patch works for you. I've been using it for about 10 months now. Out of all the other meds I've tried for frequency/urgency (detrol, urispas, ditropan), it works the best for me without bad side effects. It is the same ingredient as in ditropan, but it is released at a steady level over time. I have to change mine ever 2 or 3 days instead of 3-4 b/c it wears off for me. My uro wrote me a presciption to use them every 2 days, so I get 2 boxes a month.

I liked the Oxytrol patch, but I ended up having an allergic skin reaction to the adhesive in it, so I can't use it anymore. BOOOO!!!! :(

Hi Jen:hi: ,
I also have a slight skin rash but the patch seems to be helping. I am going to continue and see what happens. I called my urologist office and they said just keep an eye on it. If it bothers me discontinue use. I have very sensitive skin and have reactions to many things. On the other hand I have allergic reaction to most pills so the patch is easier if it doesnot bother to much.
Thanks,Kelly
