Pain and heaviness in pelvis and trace of blood in the urine

does anyone else get a really 'heavy' feeling across the top of the pelvis and a sort of 'clenching' sensation of urgency? I've been having this the past few days and it's driving me mad - I can't sleep!

I also keep getting a 'trace' of blood in my urine when using dipsticks (one or two blue spots). It's not there all the time, and often isn't there when I take my urine to the doctors so I think they don't believe me. Is this just having an IC bladder or should I be worried?

My doctors just seem to have given up on trying to figure out what's wrong.

I had a massage a few days ago and that seems to have made my symptoms worse (although it could be unrelated) - I haven't eaten anything to cause this sudden change. It's so frustrating. I'll have a good few weeks then out of the blue things get worse and I just don't understand it.

Have you gone to the doctor since you have had this new batch of symptoms?? Sounds like you actually could have an infection.

I wouldn't rely only on your own test strips either. Even in the doctor's office it is important to have your urine sent for a culture and examination by a lab. The last thing you need is to have an infection that goes haywire and then you are really in trouble. Don't worry about what your doctor says.........you need to take care of YOU. If you are having symptoms that they are not addressing, try to get a second opinion.
