I know there have been several threads about this, but after buying PH paper and testing many different waters, I feel confused.

All the waters I test seem to come out acid.

Deer Park and Crystal being worst.

Zephyrhills came in at 6.5

Evian at 7

and there were a few others I can't remember.

My issue is that the Deer Park and Crystal and others all seem to turn the PH paper the same color, which appears to be a 6.

My question is: Do you read the color on the ph paper right away? Because if so then these waters are even more acidic then I thought. I waited about 10 seconds before comparing the ph paper to the color chart because the color just kept getting weirder and running.

Does anyone know of any water that is ph neutral???????????

I've been drinking Evian for awhile. But its sooo expensive and I need to find an alternative as I'm not going to be able to afford this much longer.

Any and all replies/suggestions appreciated!

Thanks!

Gosh Jen, I have never checked the ph of my water & I drink Deerpark exclusively with no problem. I also use a Brita pitcher with no problems. Have you noticed if the Deerpark was bothering you? I would just say to give the water a try. Let me know, I'm really curious.

I haven't tried Deer Park yet. I will now though now that I know someone else is using it without a problem. I'm in a "no reason" flare now, so I'll have to wait till it ends to try the Deer Park out.

Hi there! I am usually fine if I drink a bottled water that has no additives or no added minerals for taste. You often have to read the fine print on the bottle. The worst water for me by far is Dasani - can't drink that one no matter what. I usually drink Ice Mountain or Absopure water. I live in Michigan and Deer Park is not one that is usually sold here, yet I have drank it while traveling before with no side effects.

I hope you find some water that you can tolerate.

Good luck,
Jennifer

I do fine with any bottled "natural spring water". I do read the labels to make sure there is nothing added to it.

I drink arrowhead spring water. I've never tested the pH but I do fine with it and it's pretty inexpensive.

I am another one that uses Ice Mountain. I have found out though that I have had to check my spring waters also because some of them have a ph that is too acidic.

I'm a label reader. At home we have a deep water well with an ultraviolet filter, but when away from home, I purchase bottles. I just be sure it's labeled as spring water with no additives.

When I go to my aunt's house I drink water from the tap. They have well water. At work in DC, I get Deer Park or Crystal Springs. At home, I just use the water filter from the LG fridge.
