I've also started eating apples again! I really like the Fuji brand. So sweet and juicy! Yum!

Eating my first apple after months and months of nothing but pears and no other fruit was totally thrilling. I couldn't believe how good it tasted.

Discovering foods you can still eat is so exciting! :woohoo:
I remember how stoked I was to find out that despite the fact that most have problems with tofu, I could still eat it!

I eat at least one apple or pear everyday for lunch. They have great nutrients! Eat away!!!

I baked 2 Fugi apples in the oven today to go with my pork roast. They were yummy. First time I have tried apples since diagnosis. I haven't had real good luck with new fruits in the diet. I hope this time it's different.

Apples are obtained from the medium sized tree belonging to the rosaceae family. The tree is originated in the mineral rich mountain ranges of Kazakhstan, and is now being cultivated in many parts of the world. The apple fruit features oval or pear shape and the outer skin has different colors depending upon the cultivar type. Internally, the juicy pulp has off-white to cream in color and has mix of mild sweet and tart taste.I eat at least one apple or pear everyday for lunch. They have great nutrients.

I can eat pear and thankfully love them, but I do like them on the hard side, sometimes hard to find. I don't seem to able to tolerate apples and I miss them but not as much as oranges.
Lately I have found I can pear/apples and an occasinal pomogranet. It is just really nice to have a bit of varriety.

I've not tried the apple pie. I can't wait to have some. Maybe I will this weekend.

Before I knew I couldn't eat apples I made apple pie, and had a really bad flare from it and an allergic reaction, At first I thought it was just the cinnimon in the pie but now I know it was both. I don't know if you put cinnimon in your apple pie, but if you are sensative to that you may want to try something else to flavor it.
