Sorry, I just realized I was supposed to post this recipe as a new thread, :bonk: so here it is.
This drink is very IC friendly (though not diet friendly)

1 cup whole milk
1 cup half and half
1/4 lb white chocolate (chopped or chips)
1/2 t vanilla
peppermint sticks

Heat milk and half and half on medium just below a simmer. Remove pot from heat and add the white chocolate. When the chocolate has melted add the vanilla and stir. Reheat very gently. Serve with a peppermint stick as a stirrer.

OMG... this sounds really tasty! Chocolate kinda scares me because I get bowel spasms. I'm just very sensitive to it.. but, that said, I haven't really tried white chocolate that much. I should try it again.

I can't tolerate even a small amount of regular chocolate either. White chocolate does have some cocoa butter in it but no cocoa solids and that seems to make the difference for me.

Does it have to be whole milk? I usually only have 1 percent.

1% works just fine. I tried it with fat free the other night and it was still very good just less heavy.

Yum-o-licious. I will definitely try making some once I get to the store to get the ingredients I don't have on hand. I know my husband would like this, too. Thanks for sharing!
