Dr Echenberg in Bethlehem anyone see him for IC?

I was looking for a good IC pain management Dr for my mother and was wondering if anyone see Dr Echenberg in Bethlehem for their ic? Does he prescribe meds as well as other forms of treatments for pain??

I am waiting to get the "packet" they send to you to fill out from his office...after they receive it, they call to set up an appointment....his office said it won't be until January for new patients....I don't know too much about him only that he is the only one in this area that treats pelvic pain issues...initially I went to Dr. Niryjesi in Philadelphia...it's just not practical to be going there everytime I have an issue....I'm just glad there is a gyno that is this close to be able to see.....I have heard that he is very thorough and takes about an hour or so with you....I will let you know how things go...good luck...I wish I could get in to see him yesterday!

Sometimes if you ask to be put on a waiting list it can help you get in sooner:) I did this with a well known and busy urologist and it got me in much earlier than my original appointment. I also just kept calling and checking in to see if they had any cancellations and it paid off. Just wanted to mention this because I know with this condition every day you have to wait can seem like a year:( Good luck:)
