Hi Guys,
It has been quite awhile since I have psoted here. but have been a member of the network for several years now. I am, once again, fighting severe adhesions. .I have had several surgeries due to endometriosis and finally a hysterectomy in 1990...
I had adhesion removal surgery in Jan 2002, and I got quite a bit of relief from the surgery.. Including relief from the bladder pain. You see the adhesions had wrapped around my bladder, colon, bowels, and even up under my right rib area.
Well, they are back in full force and I am having trouble getting a surgeon to go in to clean them up. NOW I do realize they (dr's) can go in and do this every year. I mean everytime they go in you run the risk of MORE adhesions developing, but I have waited almost 8 years, and have dealt with the pain...
As I see it, my body, my insurance, there is no greater risk for me to have surgery, the surgeon should be willing to relieve this horrible pain. I have not had a good bowel movement since Oct 12th.. Yeah, almost 1 month. I am not completely blocked YET. I do have a minimum amount of bowel movenment every few days. but NOT much...
Is anyone here dealing with this same issue? Is anyone from California that is dealing with this issue, and do you have a good dr. (surgeon) that is willing to treat the adhesions? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Blessings
Sheila
