Hello to my IC fam,

I'm sorry I haven't posted....I've been having a hard time.

I'm going on lexapro. I tried cymbalta but there were too many side effects for me. I hope lexapro will help!

I've just been feeling down and it's not normal. Getting help is SO hard.....I hope it helps.

I'll keep you guys posted.....hope everyone is feeling okay today! :grouphug:

If you are feeling depressed, definitely get help. I've had depression issue most of my life, but am currently in remission and have been for over a year. I've had four episodes of major depression and made it to the other side every time. My fourth episode of major depression lasted over a year and a half and was definitely the worst. Sadly I wanted to give up many times. Don't ever do that. Believe that there is light at the end of the tunnel even if you can't see it now. It's there. Hopelessness and helplessness are simply depressive symptoms and not the truth. I'd also suggest some counseling. Medications and counseling definitely work better than either on its own.

Lexapro has been a godsend for me for the past several years. I hope it helps you, too. :)

Autumn, I am so sorry you are struggling. I have never tried Lexapro, but a neighbor of mine has had great success with it and I hope you do too.

I will keep you in my prayers. I am glad you are seeking help and I am sure you will be feeling better in no time.

Wishing you well on on your journey.

God Bless,

Skyn
