Looking For Doctor

Hi everyone,

I live in the Los Angeles area and am currently seeing a very well "regarded" urologist. However, she has no bedside manner and really, she is not a great doctor. I am looking for someone new and was wondering if anyone had a great doctor in LA or the valley that they loved.

i live in riverside county and have a great doctor in murrieta named dr. brodak he treats over 200 ic patients. it might be far but it is well worth it:thumbsup:

I have a great urologist in granada hills. He has helped me through a lot and is the only one who believed the pain i was going through. If interested pm me and i will give you the address.

I am now seeing a urologist in Arcadia. So far he's the best one I've had. He seems pretty knowledgable about IC. His name is Dr. Alan Yamada. If you're interested, his address and phone number should be in a phone book for LA County or the San Gabriel Valley. Another option is to do an internet search (I think through webmd?) Look up urologist and the city Arcadia. He should be in there somewhere.

Hi,

I just want to thank everyone for the Doctor names etc. I will give it some thought. Also, has anyone ever seen Dr. Berman. She is the urologist who has a talk show with her sister. Just curious to know your thoughts.

Yes I did go 3 times and see Dr Berman. She is very nice but quite bussy. It would take me 2 hours to get to her office cuz of all the traffic and were I live and then I had to wait 1 to see her. She was very nice but what I wanted she did not give to me wich was the DMSO. She wanted to start me on Heparin and I allready had tried that and it did not work. Her staff was kind of un organized I dont know if she was going through changes or what but they were not very organized. The 3rd time when I went in there was a Gyno there and she adviced me that she would be doing intership there and she would be taking over my case? Well the reason all the way out there was to see Dr Berman so I just said thanks and did not go back.
