Is anyone on Lexapro!

I just started taking Lexapro. Two hours after taking it I started with a flair. THe second day it was not as bad but I still was hurting. Could it be the Lexapro? Thanks

That's one I haven't taken so I don't know for sure. I think it would be a good idea to ask your doctor.

It did not make me flare but the first time I tried it, I had an anxiety attack... The dr wanted me to try it again a few months later and this time it made me have flu like symptoms.. But we are ALL different and that was just my experience..So now since I am SO sensitive to meds we are going to try Prozac but in a small liquid form..

Lexapro works for serious anxiety, but it seems to have metabolic side-effects for many who take it. It can make you very sleepy and it seems to encourage weight-gain in some people. I've also taken celexa and it made me really ill.

I found Prozac to be a very neutral drug with no side-effects and great benefits.

I have been on Lexapro for about 6 years and it actually helped my IC (and my depression/anxiety), but I have read others say it made their IC symptoms worse.

I am very meds sensitive too. I have never been on Lexapro .Go on the web looking for ingredients in Lexapro. i had to come off Nexium and Fosamax because they have citiric acid in them as preservatives!!!
