Deb B is finally getting into a pain clinic!

Deb wanted me to post for her that she was finally excepted into a pain management clinic.
Her first appointment will be May 18 ? Anyway, I am so glad to report that she may be able to find her "saving grace" with the program.
Lets all hope and pray for Deb that this will work for her, that she will find hope and peace that comes with more pain free days and nights

Can you tell me why she was finally accepted? Was she turned away for some reason? The reason I ask is because I was turned away from 2 pain clinics. One was because they had never treated IC before and the other I am thinking is because it is so far away from me. (still have to call and find out the reason, but, that is what I am thinking) (almost 2.5 hours away) Just curious.....thanks! Dana

I dont understand why the pain clinic wouldnt accept you because of the distance. That doesnt seem right. Have you done an online- search to see what other pain clinics that are close to you? There are usually more than most ppl know about but you have to know what to look for to find them. Let me know if you need some help searching and I will help you out hun .. I'll do the best I can to help you find a pain clinic that will take you as a patient :-)

Deb was admitted to pain clinic on a one week trial basis, The insurance carrier wants it this way.
They want to see how she does week to week, She really is quite upset about this because how can you know if somthing is working for you with one try, it seems rediculous to me too, I hope she does improve, I have all the faith and hope for her to get through the clinic and receive the level of pain management she needs and so much deserves.
Blasted Insurance Companys hold all the cards, it is sooo unfair!:toosh:
