White Blood Cell Count?

I have had a series of Complete Blood Counts where my WBC count keeps increasing. I know with IC, inflamation is standard, and that it's fairly normal to have WBCs in the urine... but is it standard with IC to have a WBC over 14? I was diagnosed in 2001, and have been on 200 mg of Elmiron an25 mg of Hydroxyzine everyday since then. I haven't had any flares in at least a year, so I feel pretty lucky that my IC has been so well managed. But I'm curious if this could just be a new symptom of IC? thoughts?

I think micro blood in urine is common in IC, but I haven't heard of high WBC on a regular basis as a symptom of IC. Mine is always normal.

I am in the same boat. I have a WBC count over 13 almost all the time, but no signs of infection abd no positive cultures. I am looking for answers along with you. Let me know if you find anything out!!
