Okay here's my version of Marinara sauce using my nomato sauce as the base. As always please be aware of what you can tolerate and what you can't and adjust accordingly. If onions are a problem, maybe try more garlic, etc.

Nomato Marinara Sauce
1 medium onion chopped
5 cloves garlic chopped
1/2 cup diced red bell peppers
2 to 3T olive oil
1 T sugar
1 tsp thyme
1T dried basil
1T dried oregano
1 tsp marjoram
1T parsley
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp cinamon (or allspice if can't tolerate cinamon)
salt and pepper if tolerated
2 cups nomato sauce http://www.ic-network.com/forum/showthread.php?p=510987&posted=1#post510987
1/2 c pure blueberry juice
1 tsp lemon oil flavor
5 to 6 sliced brown mushrooms
1/2 lb ground beef or your favorite meatballs

Saute onions in olive oil for about a minute, add the garlic and continue to saute until light gold and transparent, add bellpeppers and saute for another minute stirring so as not to burn.

Add your seasonings and sugar and cook for another minute stirring constantly. (This helps to release their flavors).

Pour in the blueberry juice and lemon oil and bring to a simmer. Add the nomato sauce. Bring to a simmer and then turn down to a low simmer. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Let it simmer down covered for about 1/2 hour to 45 min stirring occasionally.

Once its cooked down, pour half of it in your blender and puree and pour back into pan. This step will give you the nice thick tecture of a good sauce.

In a seperate pan sautee your mushrooms in a little more olive oil, cook up your ground beef or your meatballs, add to the sauce and either cook a little longer or enjoy immediately!

Bon appetit!
