Hey Everyone,

It's been a while since I've popped in so I brought you a treat. Some of you may know this, and some of you may not, but all those little mini pumpkins that are floating around the stores right now are EDIBLE! If you like Acorn Squash you will like these. You will need:

2 mini pumpkins (about the size of a grapefruit or maybe a large orange)
1 pear (bosc and anjou cook well, but any pear will do)
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp brown sugar (you can add less sugar and butter if desired)
1 dash cinnamon (if your bladder likes it)
1 dash nutmeg (if your bladder likes it)

1. Chop off top of pumpkin and clean out inside, just like any Jack'O'Lantern
2. Peel, core, and chop pear. Place in a small bowl.
3. Mix remaining ingredients with pear pieces.
4. Stuff pumpkin with pear mixture. Add lid. Wrap the whole pumpkin in foil and place in an oven Preheated @ 400 F. Bake 1hr or until soft when poked with a fork. Serves 4 people.

This sounds good. I'll bet the presentation is really cute, too. =)
