Does anyone know where to get prescriptions for bladder instillations filled? I was told by my doc that I could fill it at Hahnemann Hospital, but it would be cheaper to do fill it at a smaller pharmacy. Any suggestions?

I'd just call around and ask the pharmacies in your area if they can fill it.

You might want to look in the phone book for a compounding pharmacy. They do special custom mixes of medication like making a liquid of something that normally comes in pill form. I've never tried to fill a prescription for a bladder instillation but I had to go to one to get a liquid medicine made for my cat. Maybe if you go and ask your regular pharmacist they can recommend someone who can fill the prescription.

I order the bupivacaine, sodium bicarbonate & sterile water from Target pharmacy. They have to special order it for me & are very good about it. It did take appealing the insurance company to get them to pay for it.
The heparin I order from my insurance company's prescription by mail service. Much less expensive that way.

If you have insurance, make sure you're using a "contract" pharmacy - paying a copay is usually cheaper than full price.
