I know back pain is associated with IC, but does anyone experience back pain after they have eaten something they shouldn't? Lately it seems if I eat something that doesn't agree with me my lower back starts hurting immediately, however, my bladder does not. Didn't know if anyone else experienced this symptom alone.

Maybe it is referred pain from your bladder. I.e. your bladder is hurting but you feel the pain in your back. All the nerves in your pelvis are very intertwined and affect each other easily. Back pain can also be related to PFD.

When my bladder is bothering me I sometimes get terrible back pain but only on my right side. Sometimes I feel pressure and pain in my pelvis at the same time but sometimes I don't. Sometimes it feels like the bone in the front of my pelvis is what hurts and that can radiate all the way around to my hips and back. I'm happy to say that it hardly ever happens any more.

When my back hurts a heating pad or hot bath usually helps some. A hot bath with NO bubble bath usually helps any kind of pelvic pain that I have.

Although I haven't noticed it necessarily after eating, I do notice that when I have lower back pain it's alway a precursor to a bad pelvic pain day.
