Can anyone recommend a laundry detergent that does not affect IC symptoms?

Sorry I can't recommend a detergent, but I 've found that if I run the washer through the rinse cycle a second time it seems to help. I was amazed at how much detergent was left behind after the first rinse. Hope this helps.

I use the All free and clear, two rinses. My sister uses Dreft.

I use All Free and Clear 2x strength - as it's less concentrated then the all and mighty. I have a setting on my washer to do an extra rinse on every load and sometimes, if I'm concerned, I do a third rinse. I also don't use any dryer sheets nor does anyone in my house. I was told by one of my doctors once that the fibers in the sheets can be in the dryer even if you don't use them on your clothes (from someone else using them on a different load) - so I stopped using dryer sheets a long time ago due to skin allergies. I use downy free and clear (or whatever that version is called).
