What does Medicare cover?

My girlfriend is going to begin Medicare in october, and we want to know what it covers?

Does it cover urologist visits, installations, elmiron, detrol la, urelle, etc?

Does anyone know, before we send them the first premium check?

Basic Medicare has lots of deductibles, which is why most people with Medicare have supplements to help. You should be able to get a booklet with her Medicare.

What are supplements?

A supplement is an insurance policy you can purchase in addition to Medicare. They take care of most of the deductibles in the regular Medicare program.
