So, yesterday I was so upset and today I am furiously mad. I have IC, pelvic floor dysfunction and bladder retention. I went to the doctor yesterday for a check up to see how the pelvic floor therapy was going. They always do a bladder scan on me and it showed that I was retaining about eight ounces (which is usually what it always says). I informed him that during my seven DMSO treatments that I had my bladder was ocassionally empty. During a few of them the nurses didn't find any urine so I know that I am not always retaining. He asked me to get an MRI done to check my spine. Ok, fine...I've also had a darn CT scan too...normal. He said the likelyhood of it being my spine is small seeing as I have no other symptoms. But I agree that we should rule out all issues. I than ask, what do we do if the MRI comes back normal. He tells me "Well, than we've done all we can do." So, that's it?!?! :cussing: I guess, i'm uncomfortable and he can't figure it out so oh well. I just have to deal. It makes me so angry. In the near future we are also planning on having a child. He had put me on flomax months ago and I was getting the same results I am now with PFT so it was decided I would go off of it. Than yesterday he asked me if I ever thought about taking flomax to help. Don't you read my chart?!?! Don't you remember you sent me to PFT to get off of it?!?! Obviously I am going to change doctors. Sorry about the rant...I just needed to vent.
