Itchy bladder

Can someone explain this to me? I've read some of you, say you have an itchy bladder. I'm wondering if you can describe this feeling to me.

The way I would describe it is to say the nerves or veins in there seem to feel like they are tingling or the blood is coursing through,in thin lines. I don't know, but it feels funny..and it almost is an itch..at time it can feel like (as I have so often called it)."A little man with a knife cutting me inside the bladder"..like that. But fortunately it's the itchy feeling these days w/better meds. Mostly it's at the top, or dome of my bladder. This is where my scarring is worse.
I hope this helps. I have all kinds of weird (to me) symptoms w/IC that I never had before. It does seem to me that w/time I get more symptoms, but I attribute this to nerve endings "singing"..
