Allergic Reaction to Pyridium

I took one days worth and I started getting small boils with pustules on my back. I stopped and they went away. The big bummer was that it actually lessened the burning sensation in my urethra. Anyone have a similiar reaction?

that sounds terrible. I"m sorry you had that reaction.

I haven't heard of reactions to pyriduim....but you might want to try urelle or proced. they both are similar to pyridium but are safer for long-term use. I'd talk with your doctor about trying a sample just to make sure you don't have another reaction to these drugs.

I have been taking proced, have not tried urelle.
