Thanks for the Happy Birthday wishes! I don't visit the forum often anymore as I seem to have my IC pretty well controlled now after the hydrodistention and I have replaced that problem with a couple of others--Mastocytosis & Sleep Apnea. I also lost my 43 year old son suddenly last year which was so devastating and I only survived the tragedy with God's help and my continuing faith in Him and believing Romans 8:28 where He tells us that He is working for the good for all those who love Him--and I do indeed love Him! I owe a debt of gratitude to this wonderful forum and the administrators that so freely shared their knowledge with me when my IC was at it's worst. May God bless you all and give you many pain free days ahead! Just keep the faith! :cat:

Carley,

I am so sorry to hear about your son. You are a brave soul. I think I would end up in a padded cell.

I'm sending you extra hugs and blessings

Thanks, Maryla, for your hugs & blessings! God has always been faithful to give me support with many angels he has sent my way through the years. I lost another son in 1981 who was only 19 in an auto accident so I have certainly known my share of sorrow. So many times my thoughts have gone back to Job in the Bible and I can really identify with all the sufferings God permitted satan to use on him. The only thing He said satan couldn't do was to take his life. Job's trust and faith was so strong as he suffered and perservered everything satan put him through and he never wavered from his faith that God would see him through and, of course, as we know he did come out victorious. That is always my prayer daily is to try and consider all the trials I have endured as proof that God does love and care for me and by keeping the faith, even when I don't understand the reasons, that God has everything in His control and and as the song goes, "Heaven Will Surely Be Worth It All"! My husband and I just recently celebrated our 52nd Wedding Anniversary so I have been blessed to have a mate that also believes and trusts in the Lord walking my side through all the valleys. We neither one knows what the future holds, but we both do know "Who holds the future!"
Thanks again for your kind words & caring thoughts. May God bless you & yours. :cat:

Hi Skynard,
You're certainly welcome for whatever help I was today. I want to be a witness for the wonderful God I serve. I often think of the song, "If I Can Help Some Struggling Soul on Life's Way, Then My Living Will Not Be in Vain".
By the way, I love your tag line quoted below, too.

Stay with me God the night is dark, the night is cold. My little spark of courage dies. The night is long. Be with me God and make me strong.
We serve a faithful God and He will do whatever it takes to help us make it through difficult situations. May God bless you & yours & everyone on this forum that puts their trust in Him!

Thank you Carley, I needed to hear that also. Even though I know that whatever, I go through with this horrid disease, that there is a reason. I am so sorry to hear about your other son as well and that your faith in God and Angels have not wavered by all the sorrow you have endured. So many people want to blame God for all the bad stuff that has happened to them.

You have truely said some things that I needed to be reminded of and for that, you are my earth angel today.

I also wanted to say Happy Anniversary as well!!!

Many hugs and blessings,
