sometimes it is really hard to pee, i figure because there is only a tiny amount up there and it takes a few drops of urine to help activate whatever nerves it takes to get it flowing. i have noticed the past few months that about 2 weeks before my period when i get the urgency feelings, i squeeze out what little amount of fluid i have and there is often a few drops of blood in the bottom of the toilet. it is very thin blood, not heavy but just simply blood droplets.
i'm scared. i made my bf look at it this evening and showing him made this seem all the more "real" and has made me nauseous. when i think about it, my knees shake and my fingers tingle. it is somewhat hard to type right now because of this sensation. *when i eat white cake frosting, the same thing happens to my fingers... weird, i know (has done that since i was a young girl).
does anyone else get traces of blood from time to time? i feel like i have something terribly wrong up there, i still have to wait another month or more before my health insurance starts up. i am just waiting and trying not to think about it. im following the diet, doing better now that i eliminated orange juice and bananas and that was a HUGE difference because i was eating an abundance of them every morning *fresh smoothies.

this is about as much as i can handle tonight. dammit, what is happening to me? im so silently scared for my health.

Have you been checked for a UTI? Can you go into one of those walk-in clinics? We have one around here called Med7, and I think it's about $80 for an appointment.

I know it's scary right now, but your health will be fine as long as you follow up. I think maybe you should try to get in with a clinic tomorrow if you can so they can run some labs and make sure all of obvious things are negative. Then, once your insurance starts up, you can get an appointment and start a real regimine with your doctor. I'm not sure that it's normal to see blood with IC, but I guess it's possible. Maybe it's an ulcer.

I honestly think for the sake of your sanity you should go in tomorrow to a clinic. :grouphug:

You really need to get some kind of medical care. Please do as musiclover suggests & see a doctor at a clinic.

I agree you should get tested right away to see if it is a UTI but wanted to add that if it always happens exactly 2 weeks before your period and stops, it also could be ovulation. I get a teensy bit of bleeding every month right at ovulation.

i have already been tested for for a uti, it is not that. i am thinking this could just be part of my ovulation cylce, however, this pre- period bleeding is all new as of the last year. there was a little heavier blood today, looked more like lining shedding... which is normal i assume. just is weird that this is 2 weeks b4 my original period. i am so bored of this diet. i had to pull over twice on my 50 mile drive to seattle today. i was having a spasm and had to take the first excit and i HATE gas station or any public restroom. i ran inside and the attendant refused to let me use their restroom... it was for employees only. i was so upset and having panic attack. i drove up to a grocery store and tried to go, took me forever to even squeeze any pee out though.
