I just got a sample of "puroast" coffee (website by same name). Their little flyer said, "cut by almost half the acids found in coffee". The person who took my order knew about IC (I loved that!) and even was quick to suggest the decaf, saying most IC patients prefer that although a few do order the caffeinated. They sent me a free 2oz sample within 24 hours of my call.

Best of all I tried it yesterday (1/2 cup made with ICN website mini-minit filter, diluted with 1/2 cup nonfat milk & 2 preliefs) and no problem!! I'm gonna finish out the trial pack & if still no problem, definitely order.

Just figured I'd pass on the info....

More and more coffee companies are seeing the need to provide low acid coffee. I recently have purchased some from Trader Joe's (much less expensive than ordering on line), and Starbucks also has a low acid one. Also, Kava is available in most large markets.

Does Kava come in whole beans or can you only get it in instant?
I have seen it in the market but I usually don't care for instant coffee. JOY

Hi Donna,
Do these coffees you get at the market-TJ's or Kava- come in decaf? (I couldn't find them decaf here in California.) I've been off caffeine since I got IC & figure that's ok.

Thanks!!!
