after hours of painting my kidney was killing me so around 11 pm last night off to the er we went i was there for three hours not to bad.
anyhow i still have alot of white blood cell in my urine they sent me for a cat scan and i have a kidney stone.
she gave me a demrol shot before my urine even came back then when it came back she gave me a second shot after the cat scan a shot to break up the stone I hope it works. and gave me a lortab 7.5 in hopes it would stop the pain then i came home. she gave me an RX for pain also.
even tho i have perocets
its sad when you keep telling doctors you are hurting in an area and they don't listen to you. ggggggrrrrrrrrrrrr, but thank goodness this doctor listen to me and found the stone.
thanks for listening
Rhonda.

I have known about a stone in my Rt kidney for over 9 months, it keeps flareing when i get UTIs and its agony!! i am waiting to see the uro again in may and wll ask him to get rid of it!! In the meantime do you think its worth me going to A&E and seeing IF they can act sooner ?? its in flare now and i dread having to wait, I have blood in my urine.

Rhonda,
Big Hugs and A :kissing:
I am so sorry you have been in so much pain. That makes me sad. :( I do hope the kidney stone breaks up and disappears without further pain!! If it doesn't go away soon, be persistent and make them get rid of it. There is no need to wait around for it to cause more problems. Especially when they can zap it with shock waves and pulverize it!!
Love and prayers!!

Thank you everyone. I have to go see my uro friday and i'm going to tell him how i called and told his head rn how much pain i was in and told her i believed it had to be a stone or pyelonephritis i have had that in my right kidney a few times and i know how dangerous it is it can even cause dealth if it gets into the blood system. since i have still alot of white cells in my urine and been on leviquin now for 6 days and eight more days to go i believe the leviquin should have worked by now i wonder if it could be pyelonephritis and the kidney stone  all i know it hurts like someone is beating me with a bat in the kidney.:( Very sad Rhonda.:(
Please pray for me i still have alot of painting to do.

Soo sorry for you, sweetie! I hope that you dissolve that stone like an alka-seltzer! Your painting will still be there to do next week (I'm hoping), so take some time to take care of yourself!

Ouchy!! So so sorry to hear that! I had one kidney stone in my life and Inever forgot it.. I hope this is your first and very last too.
Do you drink a lot of milk and dairy products too? I cut down after that. Sometimes they can "catch" them coming out and then they will know what caused it by what it is composed of.. Good luck to you, be kind to yourself and feel better soon.

Hi Rhonda:
I sure hope you are feeling better!! Is it common for IC patients to have kidney stones or is that just something you are "lucky" enough to have...I've noticed other people posting those problems as well....
Take care lady!!! I sure hate to hear about folks about being in pain. Especially someone who is such a help to everyone else.:cussing: :yikes:
