My "Meet the Parents" trip went well.

I had a great a time over the weekend in San Antonio meeting my new boyfriend's parents. They seem like really nice people and I think they liked me pretty well. I was able to convince them that just because I was visiting San Anotonio I didin't need to taken out to a Mexican resturaunt!:woohoo: Because of this I mangaged to make it all the way through the 3 days without flaring.:smile tee. It is always tempting to eat that knid of food down on the riverwalk when I'm down there. I have some out of guests this weekend coming in wish me luck in trying to stay flare free again.

I'm glad the visit went well --- just remember to stick with the diet even if everyone around you is eating trigger foods. It's worth it!

That is good news.
Mexican food is really tempting...specially at lunch time (or anytime for that matter). There is only one restuarant in Austin that I can actually eat at-so whenever I get that craving.....I go there, its out of the way but its worth it.
We have tried other places but it never fails, so this is the place that we go.
