Appt with Dr. Weiss this Friday!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have an appt with Dr. Weiss this Friday. I am very excited to know that I might finally get an accurate and full diagnosis of whatever my pelvic pain issues are. I am trying not to get "too" excited but it's hard not to when I've been trying for so long to find a uro who understands my symptoms. Please pray it is a successful appt!

My appt went really well. He really seems to understand exactly the type of pain I have. The exam was really thorough although I am feeling pretty beat up right now from all my tender points. He didn't give me a diagnosis name and I didn't think to ask for it but I will check back with him in 2 weeks. We are going to start PT and my husband is going to do skin rolling. I got an RX for some lidocaine patches so I'm hoping those help. Has anyone used these? After the exam he concluded that my internal muscles are not near as sensitive or sore as the external ones (my stomach, hips, inner thighs, buttocks were all so sensitive). I have fibro so I kept asking could this be fibro related but he doesn't think so. My hips are uneven and I have scoliosis so he thinks the PT will help me. I sure hope so!!
