skip your period for relief- it has made a huge change. I had SEVERE above and beyond my normally severe pain for 2 weeks week before and during period, heavy, clotting, diareahh with severe cramping, tailbone pain, severe cramps and pelvic pressure... urethra felt constricted with glass stuck in it. skipping my periods with CBCP nonstop bc pills, skip period placebo week and start new pack right away, also prevents pregnancy and not a sinlgle period since april , some spotting but its gone now. i still have bad urethra and blader pain but eliminating that excrcuciating period with cramps and diareah is just amaxing... to skkip that pain.

Agreed! This is something that has helped me tremendously. Though I was having spotting so my doctor said I had to go off the pill and have a period which sucks. But hopefully over time my body will get used to not having a period and the spotting and having to get a period will stop. My periods were OK before going on the pill but I did not realize how HUGE of a difference it would make not having one. I would recommend it for girls with IC, or at least going on the pill so if you are having a flare you can skip it if you want.
