I found out yesterday that maybe some of my pelvic pain is from my psoas muscle being so tight. I started deep tissue massage for it. I feel like I got run over by a truck today. But when the muscle is touched, it reproduces a lot of the pelvic pain that I have that isn't explained by the IC or PCOS. So I'm going to go every week for the massage to hopefully help it. They said I have adhesions from all the surgeries I have had too.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I have this same problem, just discovered three day's ago at physio, my first proper session. I don't have IC, (no visible signs of it) and my pain was labeled as neuropathic. ok, seeing a Neuro next month, but also a physio to check pelvic floor muscles. She just noticed this, left side far more irritable than my right. When she pushed on it, yeh similar pain to my bladder pain. If this is the reason for my pain, well that's great in that I know who the culprit is. She did some deep massage, and gave me some stretches to do, plus I need a back xray for a sore spot there. Since doing it, I have pain but I've noticed a bit that there's less pressure and a need to go. Lying down has been the only thing that takes the pain away thus far, and I've been told that relaxes the psoar muscles. So yeh, here's hoping further treatment of these could lead to better things for us both!
