Be careful of what yellow tomatoes you get!!!

Yesterday my husband got me some yellow tomatoes that supposed to have been acid free or low acid. TODAY I'M IN A BIG IC FLARE:cussing: I love him for buying them for me. He thought he was doing something good and I love him for it. Please be aware of what kind you buy. I feel like I have put fire into my bladder. Last week I did get some that did not bother me. So when you buy ask if its low in acid. Make sure that they are totally bright yellow in color. The ones I had last night where not bright yellow. The pain is awful:cussing:

I'm so sorry. Flares like that are awful. If you don't have high blood pressure or need to restrict sodium, sometimes drinking a half teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water can help soothe an angry bladder. A few plain white TUMS can also be soothing.

i always grow my own i dont trust the supermarket ones they can get mixed up with the other tomatoes. hope you are feeling better
