..We had some much needed rain in our area yesterday. I was out and about most of the afternoon for doctors appointments, lab work, etc when it started to sprinkle a little, noticed it was a little cooler than when I first stepped into one doctors; anyway, when I got into the cardio doctors it was pouring, you should of seen all the patients (and staff as well) they were all staring at the rain - someone said "they acted like we haven't seen rain for awhile" someone else said "We haven't" !
It was still pretty much raining when I got home - not a lot but enough that if you had groceries you leave them in the car till it stopped (thankfully, nothing was frozen!
Today, though its back to being over 100 degrees. I think we have had 57 days and counting of high temps of 100 and more.

Boy,...sure am glad to be in N. Idaho when I read posts like this! (It's almost 3:00 in the afternoon and 73 degrees out)

Yeah, I talked to my sister last Sunday and she was telling me how hot it's been in your area. Her hubby is a fire chief and he can't go anywhere when it gets like this.

We got about a 1/10 of an inch Wednesday and we'll take every drop we can get, but we need so much more. It was so humid yesterday after the rain ... just miserable. Today was back to hot and dry. I guess I have adjusted to the climate as I don't find the dry heat that bad. Still praying for rain, though.
