First everyone is different but they work for me. I'm not going to sugar coat it though its very painful for the first few days after its done but your doctor shold give you something to help with the pain. I'm due for another one myself but it pretty much put me in remission for almost 10 months. Hope this helps and I will pray that you make the right decision for you.

Hugs Deb

As Deb said what works for some may not work for others. I my case it was the only thing at the begining that took me down from a 9 in pain to about a two. I believe who the Doctor is depends much on how much it helps or hurts. I'd find out how many Hydros the Doctor has done that intends to do yours. I was only uncomfortable for a few days and was give pain pills to get me through. I babied myself and stayed in bed a lot. I'm retired so that was not hard for me. If you have children that need your care, I'd get some help for a few days. I was nervous as you are right now. My pain was so darn bad I figured how much worse could it get and maybe it might help. In my case, it did. I really care, please keep us posted. Hugs, Ziggy
