instills......ugh!

I went in this week for my 6th Rimso 50 instill. As I've said before, I HATE the whole instill process. I thought this would be last, but apparently I've been approved for 6 more because my symptoms still flare up very mildly about 1 day per each two week cycle between instills.
Anyway, this week we did the typical routine, but when I moved I could feel fluid dribbling out of me. I sat up to tell the nurse that I was leaking, and lots more ran out. She was dumbfounded. Had me go pee out the rest (most of which ran out as I ran to the toilet) then set up to do again.
The nurse said she was sure the catheter was in my bladder because she drained a tiny bit of urine out before she poured in the instill, so I must have had a little spasm that forced it back out. I can usually feel the spasms, and haven't had any since I started taking Enablex.
The next instill stayed in. This has never happened before.
Anybody ever had this experience, or know why I did - just this time? Is the nurse full of baloney about the spasm?

hmmm...the only time I ever had that happen to me was when the nurse accidently put the cathater in my vaginal opening. I felt the pain and thought it was in but as soon as I stood up it all came dribbling out. Not sure about the spasm thing. That's the only experience i've ever had with that happening. Hope someone else has the answer. I will be interested to know.

Thanks Angel. That's what I thought had happened, but she said she had drained a little urine first, so she was just sure the catheter was inserted correctly. It's no biggie, just weird.....Robin
