inpatient pain mngment program

Hi All,

I just need some help here My IC is in remission I have a disease called triganytis which they just scraped out of my ic free bladder I am still in a lot of pain. bladder, pelvic you name it. Now my pain Dr . that i have seen 2 times for 10 minutes wants me to go this program where they take you off your medicine and try to teach you how to live wiht the pain. I am confused here I do not now how I will feel if they will give me any pain meds or what. The doc is not a very good one and I will not be going to her after this for sure!! My pain is real and i feel I always have to prove it. Maybe I am being paranoid. If anyone has gone thru this could you let me knowI would love to have a heads up!!!

hon alot of us have chonric pain and know how you feel please dont feel like you have to always prove yourself if your doctor is careing and understand then he knows your pain.

i know the feeling hon. If i was you I would call the doctor your uro or who ever treats your ic and tell them your afraid and you need some answers please let you know what lies ahead of you on this treatment plan.
