He's very competent, though not the Mr. bedside guy. I asked the receptionist to let him know I have IC and that it would save us both a lot of time if he was familiar with it before I got there.

I'm pretty loopy these days. Serious stress at home is bringing back early depression symptoms (trouble concentrating and speaking) and the IBS sent my bile ducts into full shutdown again. I look like I have a pregnancy bump.

It's a regular check-up with some extra attention on a ovarian (probably dermoid) cyst. We also need to re-think the hormones I'm taking. Yaz doesn't seem to be helping the hormone related mood swings any more, and last month I had a mid-cycle flare and a monster premenstrual flare.

I hope my loopiness doesn't keep him from taking me seriously. I wish I could think of someone to go with me.

A husband/significant other? Neighbor? Friend? Coworker?
I find it unfortunate that we as women feel the need to have someone tag along to our appts. Just today I had to see my GP due to my URO blowing me off, and I was so desperate to be heard that I took my husband into the exam room with me so to have another mouth who would speak up should the DR appear uninterested or bothered. I've had to do this too with my URO (who is soon to be my ex-URO!). While its unfortunate, if it works then so be it.

Hope your appt goes well!
D :)

I overslept and had to reschedule. I guess I can take one more month of hormonal fluxes giving me bad flares. They seem to be the only thing besides black pepper and hot peppers that cause bad ones.

Oh! That gives me time to find a companion or two.
